The Couple and Their Decision to Elope at Hoh Rainforest
Hoh Rainforest is one of those places in Washington that I can truly never get enough of so when Sandra and Josh decided to elope here I was so excited!
When they first inquired, Sandra and Josh said they wanted something magical and fairytale-like. Immediately, the Hoh Rainforest came to mind! The Hoh Rainforest is one of only a few rainforests in the United States. It is such a diverse rainforest compared to all the others as it also has rocky beaches, wildflower fields, and of course, moody forests. This rainforest is the most well-known rainforest in the lower United States and it has also recently become known as one of the quietest places in the U.S., making it an ideal elopement location!

Sandra and Josh’s Hoh Rainforest elopement was filled with lots of laughs. These two love to joke with each other which definitely made for a fun elopement day!
The couple held their first look just outside their cabin near their Airstream. The Airstream has been a big part of their love story so I loved that they included that in their day.
Family is also super important to these two, so they invited their immediate family to come along and help them celebrate. One thing that was important to Sandra was that her dad could make it, so we worked to find the perfect ceremony location in the rainforest that was also accessible for him.
Sandra and Josh, I am so grateful for having the chance to get to know you both not only as clients but now as friends. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
