We are Henry, Sergio & Nick, three best friends who joined one another to enrich each other’s life and the lives of couples we get to work with.

Just like where you are today, we each also went through wedding planning with our own life partner.

We learned that at the core of who we are as humans, we already know how we want to live, to love, to experience this life.

But somehow, the external noises of expectations can often drown out what we truly believe in – and this happens quite often when it comes to weddings.

Though we are your wedding photographers, our job is more than just beautiful artwork. We want to empower you through the whole journey of wedding & elopement planning

By chance or fate, you’ve landed on my website and I am glad you have. Thanks for looking at what I have to share with the world.

My name is Henry and this is my creative space and my safe place to share with you the places I’ve been and the people I’ve met. I am a daydreamer and a night thinker.

My previous career as a Cardiac ICU nurse has taught me that life can happen in the most unexpected ways and all we have on Earth is NOW. I see that life waits for no one. So I decided to live my life and help others live theirs, especially on the one day that signifies the beginning of something new, magical, and worth every second living for. This is why elopement photography isn’t just my job, it’s my calling.

When I am not photographing, you’ll find me with my camera where the grass is green and the air can awaken souls.

My husband and my fur babies are my support system and also my biggest fans. They allow me to be my true authentic self and fuel my passion.

I’ve always been a dreamer, an observer, a free-spirit. The one to notice the allure of small details. The wonder of a never-before-seen perspective. The artistry in everyday life settings. Photography is what I do, but, if we take a step back, what really lights my soul up is human connection, capturing emotions, memories and creating the art of you.

My story begins when, many moons ago, my then girlfriend (now wife) Pamela and I moved to Italy to be with her family. While we were there, we had so many adventures traveling near and far. Throughout it all, I photographed the big and little moments. Each night before bed, we would lay down and she would tuck her head into my shoulders. We would scroll through the photos together and just smile. We relived those moments many times over and just couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with not only a rush of joyous and nostalgic emotions, but the realization of how each one of these moments built our love story. When we returned stateside, I bought my first professional camera and the rest is history.

I am so lucky to get to do what I do and share this light with your light. Let me be your third wheel and together, we can tell the most beautiful story – yours. While we are at it, let’s create some seriously breathtaking, customized and musing art that will be a part of your legacy forever more.

I’m Nick, a husband to the most beautiful human on this planet (who also happens to be a photographer), father to two amazing little girls, and an adventure junkie at heart. My journey as a full-time photographer began in 2010

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, my love for adventure and the outdoors eventually brought me to Washington in 2017. I’m also the proud owner of Wandering Weddings, where I’ve channeled my passion for elopements and adventurous weddings.

I love capturing the beauty and emotion of life’s most significant moments.

I’m all about capturing the story of your wedding day without getting in the way. Instead of focusing on posed shots, I’m here to document the real moments, emotions, and little details that make your day truly yours.

And honestly… I can’t believe I get to do what I love every day, especially doing it together as a team!

Never in a million years I think I would go to New Zealand to get married there(one of the two locations that Henry suggested). But that was the best choice I made. He provided so many resources throughout the process. He periodically followed up with us to make sure things were moving in the right direction. Because we had multiple meetings and many emails back and forth, it really helped us to bond with Henry and feel relaxed on our wedding day. My husband who normally hates taking photos told me he actually had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the time. We both felt that he is not just a photographer we hire. He is our friend.

The process of planning an elopement is equally as stressful as a traditional wedding. Sergio was there every step of the way. We eloped in Patagonia. Henry was there a few days before we arrived and scouted the whole park for nooks and crannies! He looked at the weather and wind forecast daily and planned accordingly to that. He scouted the park at sunrise, he went there at sunset. I mean, he was already hard at work even before the elopement day. We had plans B to Z, if any unanticipated factor arose.
Our elopement day felt like Henry was in work mode from dawn to dusk, with no dull moment, no moment of panic when things didn’t go as planned. Whew! We were so impressed with his hard work, commitment, and creativity! His work ethic is exceptional! We had sneaks a few days after, and the photos are of course, incredible! We loved working with Henry and if we could elope again, he would always be our guy!

As a gay couple we connected instantly with Henry and felt comfortable being vulnerable throughout the planning process and on the morning of our portrait session and micro wedding ceremony. Our initial conversation lasted over an hour (well beyond the 30 min projected time) as we talked about our love story and our early wedding ideas. Not only is Henry a consummate professional and a very talented photographer, he is a genuinely warm and kind human being. He is so easy to connect with, and that definitely made a difference in how are photos turned out. He quickly delivered some “sneaks” the day after our wedding which capture the majesty and grandeur of the environment and the gamut of emotions we and our guests experienced on our wedding day. The genius of Henry’s work is that neither one outshines the other. We are so glad we invested in Henry and trusted him with these priceless photos and memories he has given us. We wholeheartedly recommend him!

As a queer couple, it was very important to us that we work with a photographer who embraces the LBGTQ+ community and really makes us feel welcome. Sergio is the perfect photographer for any queer couple who is looking for someone to cheer them on & make them feel as comfortable as if they’re with a lifetime best friend. Over every Zoom call, text, and email, Sergio’s excitement for us OOZED through the screen. He completely crushed our expectations!! Our entire experience with Sergio was absolute perfection. We were nervous about spending our 1:1 time with another person around, but if anything, Sergio enhanced that experience for us: making us laugh, sharing in our joy, and helping us to ensure we were capturing our day the way we wanted to.

Everything felt incredibly natural and Sergio knew exactly what we wanted in our day and delivered it. I can’t thank him enough for the day he provided us and the memories he helped capture in our day!

My wife and I were lucky enough to have Henry photograph our day in Switzerland and it could not have been more perfect!! Our photos were OTHERWORLDLY!!! It was such a huge project to plan a day all the way across the world and Henry made us feel like everything was completely under control from the first phone call. We felt so comfortable in his ability to bring the craziness we had in our heads into reality— and he delivered in every conceivable way possible. He was prepared with backup locations (which we used plan C because of weather). There are a lot of talented photographers our there but Henry and his business are in a category far above the others, there is nobody else on the planet I would trust with such an important day.
