Love is an adventure but it doesn’t have to be so far away from home 

Alex and Jason inquired me for an adventurous session somewhere around North Bend or Issaquah areas. In the initial email, Alex mentioned that they also want their fur baby Story the Border Collie in the photos and I knew I’d have to make that happen. For those who don’t know me, I have Three Fur Babies and I am a sucker for dogs. My life motto is “You miss 100% of the dogs you don’t pet”.

Our original plan for an adventurous session fell through when it started raining that morning. I woke up to a text from Alex asking if we could re-schedule. I totally understood. Then of course it stopped and Alex texted me again to see if it was still ok to continue with the photoshoot. 

This is what photographing in the PNW is like, you don’t really know for sure what the weather is like until the day of. So all you have to do is be flexible and pray that it doesn’t rain like crazy. 

I met them at their house and immediately fell in love. I was happier when they told me they had never had photos of them taken here. And heck yeah, I immediately told them what I had in mind and that I wanted to turn this into an intimate in-home session. The best thing about in-home is that you get to have photos of you at the place where you belong, where you live and grow together a family.
