The Right Adventure Elopement & Intimate Wedding Photographer Can Make All The Difference

A Short But Quite An Important Story on Why We Do What We Do

Hi, I’m Henry. My background in the Intensive Care Unit let me see that life waits for no one. I see that we can’t live our lives waiting for better days to happen. Life isn’t about purpose or acknowledgment. Life is about choosing to live.

I wasn’t really living so I decided to live my life and help others live theirs, especially on the one day that signifies the beginning of something new, magical, and worth every second living for.

Being more than just an elopement photographer, I help couples craft an intentional experience that allows honest emotions to reveal themselves

Sergio, Nick and I formed such a deep connection because view life the same way. This is why we are so proud to be able to work together too.

Our priority: Create memories and experiences that would last a lifetime for YOU.

This is why on day one, we listen to your visions and wishes. During planning process, we provide insights, resources, and helpful tips on planning an epic adventurous elopement. On the day of your elopement, we will be your photographer, best man, maid of honor, witness on your marriage license, and most importantly, a friend that truly care for your experience.

Our goal is for when you look back on your elopement photos, you get to experience every single moment all over again, you get to feel how you felt on your elopement day, and you get to relive all those gentle touches and kisses.

We believe in elopements so much so

WE ALL ELOPED!

For all three of us, Elopement isn’t just our job, it’s our calling. We walked the walk so here is where we talk the talk in order to prepare you with everything you need to plan for your elopement

Everything to Prepare You For Your Adventure Elopements & Intimate Weddings

What is An Adventure Elopement?

The word wedding is often associated with “tradition”, “love”, “celebration”. The word elopement is often associated with “secret”, “small”, “lonely”, “court house”.

So what does it mean to elope? In the world of intimate weddings and adventure elopements, the day you get married does not need to be adhered to any expectations. Adventure elopements are for couples who choose to focus on the INTENTIONAL EXPERIENCE of wholeheartedly having your wedding day the way you want to. You do so so that years from now, you won’t have any “oh we should have…”

So you can choose to elope with just the two of you (and us the best adventure elopement photographers out there, duh 😆😘) or with some friends and family members. You can choose to travel to somewhere meaningful to your relationship or a destination completely new to start your marriage on an adventurous note. You can choose to stay in a cabin in the woods, or hike up or take a helicopter ride up the mountains to share your vows. The day is truly yours. You have control over that INTENTIONAL EXPERIENCE + TIMELESS MEMORIES

What’s The Difference Between Elopement and Intimate Wedding?

The main difference between an elopement and intimate wedding is in the guest list, specifically the amount of guests invited.

To some elopement photographers, their pricing and how they approach your wedding day might look different even with one extra guest.

For our services, all elopement and wedding packages are the same. We don’t charge extra for when you decide to invite those who are important in your life to be there with you. We know how important support systems are and We did the same, We had the closest friends there with us when we eloped.

Therefore, we use these terms, adventure elopements and intimate weddings, interchangeably.

However, with elopements that use public space (National Parks, State Parks, etc…), there are often restrictions from the governing office. Therefore, in order to follow the rules and preserve the intimate setting of this INTENTIONAL EXPERIENCE, We recommend to have guest size of 30 or less. We undersrtand that sometimes, you might want to have more than 30 guests. If that’s the case, let us know and we can guide you on finding a venue that can accommodate all your loved ones.

Should We Elope?

The one common denominator that we heard among our elopement couples on why they decided to elope is that they all value INTIMACY & INTENTIONAL EXPERIENCE. By forgoing expectations and traditions that no one really knows why couples have to do a certain things on their wedding day, our couples are able to customize their wedding experience that truly reflects who they are.

Hike if you want to. Have a group of friends and family members partying and twerking on top of the mountain if you want to. Elope somewhere epic then have a reception later if you want to.

See the similarities in those sentences? They all end with “if you want to”.

Where Should We Elope?

The easiest way to answer this question is by leaving you these lyrics from this classic piece:

I can show you the world

Shining, shimmering, splendid

Tell me, princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?

– A Whole New World, Alladin

With nature and epic landscapes being your elopement/wedding venues, the world is your oyster. With so many options, it can be overwhelming. As mentioned in our article 6 Things To Consider Before Eloping, we ask our couples and you to decide with your heart by closing your eyes and think of your elopement date: What do you see? Where are you? What do you smell? Do you see trees? or mountains? Or the ocean? etc…

You might not know an exact location, or the country, or the mean of transportation to get to that place you see in your head but from there we can help with narrowing down what we can do.

Although we don’t have a magic carpet ride, we can still open your eyes and take you wonder by wonder 😘 *we can be corny

We’ve created resources on how to find the best locations for your adventure elopements:

You can always see our Travel Schedule to see where we are going next and get married there 🙂 We also have a list of places we’ve saved up over the years to recommend and to bring you. From Asian countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and Bali to European countries like Italy and Norway, the best locations are often the locations not commonly heard of. Contact us if you are up for an adventure unlike any others.

When Is The Best Time To Elope?

Do you have a certain dates that are important and meaningful to you, your family, or your relationship? Maybe one of those dates could be your elopement date. Depends on what matters to you more, we can narrow down the best time / season of the year to get married.

If you don’t care about dates and care more for a certain vibes and visions (Beach vs Mountain; Sun vs Snow; Waterfalls vs Snow Capped Mountains; etc…), then we’ll pick a location first and determine the date later.

A couple of important factors to keep in mind:

  • If location is the most important thing for you, let us know, we’ll advise you on the best time for us to travel there to avoid tourists and crowds as well as to avoid road/trail closures due to unpredictable weather
  • Week days are always better than weekends. This is how we can avoid crowds for an intimate experience and for better photos
  • Although we photograph in any kind of weather (and yes, our cameras have been wet, snowed on, endured the desert heat), the best portraits photos are when light is soft and even. Therefore, when planning on an adventure with us, be prepared to hike before sunrise or after sunset. Don’t worry about the logistics now, we’ll help you prepare a list of things to pack during the planning process. This is just a heads up so you know what our couples and us have done for beautiful photos.

KIND WORDS

If you are feeling on a fence about booking, please don’t because his work and support throughout this process is truly priceless!

All I can say about Henry is WOW! His work, WOW! This is his passion; during our session you can see him climbing on logs, running around in the sand and in the water just so he can capture that perfect shot and moment. My husband and I are awkward when it comes to photos, I mean it takes 100 photos for us to even like one! But Henry made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, there were no awkward moments at all, and the pictures truly showed. No matter how busy he was, he always made time for a quick check in (he literally called us right after a long flight just check in before the actual day, he could’ve waited until after he settled in but NOPE, not Henry, he called us right when he got into his car.)

KIND WORDS

If you want a photographer who truly cares about you and your experience, look no further.

I cannot put into words how AMAZING it was working with Sergio. He made a destination elopement such a breeze. We had a small wedding in Yosemite National Park in California. We had never been there before, and Sergio took all the weight off our shoulders when it came to all the research and hassles of a destination wedding. The wedding day, Sergio made both of us feel so comfortable and not awkward at all. We both do not like to be the center of attention and do not like to be photographed but there was never an awkward moment between us and Sergio. He was literally running around on the mountain side trying to get the best pictures and best angles. He even asked for some songs that we liked and brought a speaker and played them while he took pictures of us to make us feel more comfortable and relaxed. As soon as we opened the email our jaws dropped. The pictures were absolutely breathtaking. Sergio, thank you so much for making this day truly special for the both of us.
