  • 1. What makes your wedding photography different from others?
    Most photographers focus on how your wedding looks. I focus on how it feels.
    My approach blends documentary and editorial: capturing real, unscripted moments as they unfold, while offering gentle direction when needed so nothing ever feels forced or unnatural.
    I’m not there to turn your day into a photoshoot, and I’m not completely hands-off either. I guide when it matters, step back when it doesn’t, and move through your day with intention.
    Visually, my work leans toward true-to-life tones with a cinematic, timeless quality, using both digital and film to create imagery that feels natural, textured, and enduring.
    The result is photographs that don’t just show how it looked, but bring you back to how it felt.
  • 2. DO YOU OFFER FILM PHOTOGRAPHY AND DRONE COVERAGE FOR WEDDINGS?
    Yes, both film photography and drone coverage are available for weddings and elopements.
    I use a blend of digital, 35mm film and 120mm to create images that feel timeless, textured, and true to life. Film brings a softness and depth that’s hard to replicate, while digital allows me to capture moments as they unfold with precision.
    Drone photography is used when the location and conditions allow, adding a sense of scale and perspective to your story. Always with intention, never just for the sake of it.
  • 3. WHERE ARE YOU BASED, AND DO YOU TRAVEL FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
    I’m based in Seattle, Washington, and photograph weddings and elopements both locally and worldwide.
    Over the years, my work has taken me across six continents. Each place different, each requiring a thoughtful approach to planning, logistics, and preparation.
    Travel is a big part of what I do, and with that comes experience in navigating new environments, working with different conditions, and making sure everything, from timelines to equipment, is handled with care. Your photographs are always backed up and protected, and I come prepared so nothing is left to chance.
    Whether you’re planning a wedding in Washington or a destination celebration somewhere across the globe, I approach every experience with the same level of intention, awareness, and attention to detail.
  • 4. WHAT IS IT LIKE TO WORK WITH YOU FROM START TO FINISH?
    From the moment you reach out, my role is to guide you through the entire process so nothing feels overwhelming or uncertain.
    We start by getting to know what matters most to you: how you want your day to feel, not just how it should look. From there, I work closely with your wedding planner to help with everything from timeline planning to location ideas and the flow of your day, so the experience feels intentional and aligned with you.
    On the wedding day, I’m a calm, steady presence, stepping in when needed, stepping back when it matters, and allowing you to be fully present in it all.
    Afterward, your images are carefully backed up, thoughtfully edited, and delivered in a way that lets you relive everything with clarity and emotion.
  • 5. WHAT EXPERIENCE OR RECOGNITIONS SETS YOUR WORK APART AS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
    My work has been recognized by Junebug Weddings, where I’ve been awarded for Best Wedding, Best Destination Wedding, and Best Engagement in recent years. I’ve also been named a Rising Star by Rangefinder Magazine and have had my work featured by Sony.
    While awards aren’t the reason I do this, they reflect a consistent commitment to creating meaningful, artful work for every couple I photograph.
    At the end of the day, what matters most is how your photographs feel to you, both now and years from now.
  • 6. HOW FAR IN ADVANE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?
    Most couples reach out anywhere from 6 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding seasons and destination locations.
    I take on a limited number of weddings and elopements each year to ensure every couple receives a fully intentional experience, so dates can fill up quickly.
    If you already have a date in mind, it’s always best to reach out early. If you’re still in the planning stage, you’re more than welcome to connect. I’m happy to help you think through timing and next steps.
  • 7. WE’RE NOT USED TO BEING IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA, WILL YOU GUIDE US?
    You don’t have to know what to do. That’s my job.
    Most couples I work with aren’t used to being photographed, which is why my approach is a balance of gentle guidance and natural observation.
    When moments are unfolding, I step back and let them happen. When you need direction (especially during portraits), I guide you in a way that feels natural and effortless, so nothing ever feels stiff or forced.
    You’ll never feel lost, and you’ll never feel like you’re performing.
    You’ll just feel like yourselves.
  • 8. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE INQUIRE?
    Once you reach out, I personally review your inquiry and respond within 24–48 hours.
    From there, we’ll set up a time to connect over zoom so I can learn more about your plans, answer your questions, and make sure everything feels aligned.
    If it feels like the right fit, I’ll send over a proposal with all the details, and you can officially reserve your date from there.
    The process is simple, clear, and designed to feel easy from the very beginning.
