Portland Engagement Photos: A Surprise Proposal in the Forest
I love photographing surprise proposals, and though I still get superrrr nervous, they always end up being so so so much fun.
In 2020, Megan reached out to me to start planning her surprise proposal to her girlfriend Serena. Her original vision included fall vibes somewhere private with lots of colorful leaves.
We picked a date for the following November and got to work planning. We agreed to meet at Hoyt Arboretum for the big proposal and then go to the Columbia River Gorge for couple photos afterward.
After 11 months of planning, the big moment came and Serena was so surprised. The couple couldn’t stop smiling and laughing the whole time. We spent the rest of the afternoon taking Portland engagement photos at different locations around Oregon.
