Zion National Park Elopement with Tips on How to Elope in Utah | Elopement Photographers Utah

The Couple and Their Decision to Elope at Zion National Park

I love when couples incorporate meaningful details into their elopements! For Suzanne and Alex, where they chose to elope, was a place that held meaning for them in their relationship.

Zion National Park was actually the place they took their first trip together and they wanted to plan a small ceremony with close family and friends in a place they held close to their hearts.

The couple originally planned to elope with 25 of their closest family and friends, but life happened and they ended up planning an intimate day for just the two of them.

We changed our original plans but that didn’t prevent us from having an intentional day full of intentional details.

This day with Suzanne and Alex was truly one for the books.

On the afternoon of their elopement, Suzanne and Alex go ready separately before coming together for their first look. First looks are some of my favorite moments of elopements. I love the soft moments during getting ready photos where we are all nervous and excited : )

After their first look, the couple, Rain and Pines, and I hopped on a shuttle in Zion National Park to go to their ceremony location. We never asked, but thanks to the wonderful staff at Zion, we ended up getting the whole shuttle to ourselves. 🙂

Suzanne and Alex exchanged vows in the valley at Zion National Park surrounded by towering cliffs and red rock in every direction. We spent the next few hours running around Zion, taking photos, and just exploring the beautiful national park.

Elopements with Henry mean we photograph until after dark. I’m always looking for creative ideas to incorporate and for Suzanne and Alex’s Utah elopement, I got some lights to set up for the couple in their car. I AM BEYOND OBSESSED with the results!

After we finished photographing it was time to party! We ended the evening at a pub where, over beers and Dr. Pepper (because let’s face it, I can’t do beer lol), the 4 of us reminisced over how such an amazing day it was.

Congrats on your elopement, Suzanne and Alex. Thank you so much for trusting in me and allowing me to create art with you guys!

– Henry

He made the process so easy and stress-free from first contact up until the wedding day.

I found Henry by chance when I was reading web articles about destination elopements. I was so mesmerized by the beautiful photographs that accompanied one of the articles, that I ended up doing some research on the photographer – Henry Tieu. Months of continuing to look at all of my options reaffirmed that having Henry on my wedding team was absolutely necessary as no one else even came close to the same quality he produced. He made the process so easy and stress-free from first contact up until the wedding day. My husband and I instantly felt comfortable around Henry and Viet, which was so important since we were spending the most important day of our lives with them! Henry went above and beyond to get beautiful shots, make us feel like movie stars, and personalize our experience. Henry’s value goes so far beyond just the photographs, and he really played a major role in making my wedding a smashing success. I cannot recommend him enough.
