The Couple and Their Decision to Plan a Snoqualmie Pass Engagement
From the moment Lexie and Sam inquired about their Snoqualmie Pass engagement, I (Henry) could tell that their relationship was built on intentionality.
Originally from the East Coast, Lexie and Sam knew they wanted to celebrate their engagement somewhere in nature. After researching some options, they chose the Washington mountains.
During the planning process, we talked about their engagement photo session. The couple shared their vision of the session taking place near a lake so I shared a few ideas with them. They ultimately landed on a engagement photos at Gold Creek Pond.
Lexie and Sam really wanted to make sure that their Snoqualmie Pass engagement was a special day for them, so they took a preview trip beforehand to scout out the location. They treated their proposal with as much intentionality as they would if they were planning an elopement or wedding.
When their actual proposal day rolled around, the couple again flew into Seattle from the East Coast. We started out with adventure photos at a nearby waterfall before making our way over to the lake for their vows.
Once we got to the lake, they took turns sharing vows and proposing to each other with a ring. Through teary eyes and voices filled with emotion, they each shared promises with the other and talked about how excited they were to continue on this adventure together.
After their proposal, they celebrated with champagne toast and we ended the evening with classic Henry’s Diary blue hour lantern photos.
