The Couple and Their Decision to Elope in La Push
Nikki and Carol have a spontaneous spirit. They love adventure, road trips, and just simply going with the flow.
In fact, shortly after they met, they took a road trip together from southern California to Washington. They fell in love with the drive and the Washington mountains and beaches. It was during that road trip that they realized a PNW elopement was exactly what they wanted!
From Navigating the Unexpected To Creating a New Timeline, this Is How To Elope In the PNW Adventurously
Nikki and Carol had never held expectations for their elopement day. They wanted to let the day naturally unfold itself, with a “lots of laughs” type of vibe and that’s exactly what happened.
Their elopement day started with Nikki feeling very sick and nauseated. She figured she got food poisoning from the night before but she was a super trooper and she didn’t let that ruin her day with her boo. She fought through the sickness, and we took lots of breaks throughout the day as needed.
After getting ready together, the brides exchanged vows in the forest at their Airbnb. Following the ceremony, Nikki and Carol celebrated with their dream outdoor picnic. Bixby and Pine and Sweet Ombre executed the brides’ vision perfectly and it was a beautiful way for them to celebrate the start of their marriage. We even lucked out by not getting rain even though the forecast showed it would.
Though we didn’t get to end up hitting all the places on their timeline as we had planned, we improvised and stopped at Lake Crescent which was perfect. It was covered with moody vibes, which is exactly what these brides had wanted.
Despite some unexpected setbacks, Nikki and Carol’s PNW elopement was a true picture of going with the flow and letting the day unfold naturally. We were able to have a great time and take some awesome photos.
