The Couple and Their Decision to Elope on the Oregon Coast
If you’ve been following along us for a while then you know we LOVE elopements on the Oregon Coast. There is something about this part of the west coast that screams adventure. And there are so many hidden gems with breathtaking views that we can never get enough!
Having met online, Mary and Leslie quickly bonded over their love for nature, music, and art. Their favorite memories together always include the outdoors. From hiking, camping, snowshoeing, snowboarding, and road-tripping together these two are the ultimate adventurers.
When Mary and Leslie reached out, they already knew they wanted to elope on the Oregon Coast. The couple had gotten engaged at Manzanita and traveled there many times together so this place already held a special spot in their hearts. They decided they wanted to make this location even more special by planning their elopement there, so immediately we hopped on the phone and started planning their beautiful Oregon Coast elopement!
From Exchanging Vows on a Secluded Beach To Watching the Ocean Waves During Sunset, this Is How To Elope On the Oregon Coast Adventurously
One of the things I love most about Mary and Leslie’s elopement day was that they included their fur babies in everything. When we first talked, they told me that they always have to bring their dogs (Bishop and Poppy) everywhere they go and their elopement was no exception. They even planned their elopement day on the birthday of one of their furbabies!
On the day of Mary and Leslie’s elopement, we had to change locations at the last minute due to unexpected crowds. Oregon beaches can often get quite crowded, especially the more popular ones. One thing to keep in mind with anywhere you elope, if you have heard of it, it’s probably crowded by tourists. Thankfully, as Oregon elopement photographers, we have spent a bunch of time doing research and scouting and we know a bunch more secret spots so your elopement can be more intimate.
With their special fur friends and a few other guests, Mary and Leslie exchanged their vows on a secluded Oregon beach.
That evening we went on a sunset adventure overlooking the cliffs of Oregon and even though it was windy, we embraced the fog and the wind. We just LIVE IT FOR WHAT IT WAS.
Mary and Leslie danced on the cliff as the sun set and we watched as the giant waves crashed into the rocks below. We took in all the beauty around us and truly just lived in the moment.
